KICK YOUR WAY TO LA - ADELAIDE CROWS X CRYPTO.COM

Adelaide Crows Fan Wins Crypto.com’s “Kick Your Way To La” Competition

Over the weekend, the Adelaide Crows, in partnership with Crypto.com, celebrated the completion of a unique new fan engagement campaign.

The “Kick Your Way to LA” fan competition came to an end during Thursday night’s Showdown between the Adelaide Crows and Port Adelaide Power, with a lucky Crows fan kicking the Sherrin through a basketball hoop to win a trip to the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles and a $1,000 Crypto Wallet, in a prime example of how sporting clubs can leverage global partnerships to enhance the match-day experience.

Held at three-quarter time in front of a sold-out Adelaide Oval, the event was strategically designed to maximise audience engagement and media coverage. The execution not only provided a memorable experience for fans but also garnered significant attention on national television with coverage on The Project and Channel 7, and digital platforms, accumulating in over 1 million views.

The success of this activation highlights the effectiveness of integrating innovative marketing strategies within sports events to boost fan interaction and engagement. By connecting a global partnership with localised sports marketing efforts, the Adelaide Crows and Crypto.com have set a benchmark in the sports business community for enhancing fan experiences through technology and creative promotions.
