NBA and Kenny Beecham Launch ‘Enjoy the NBA Trivia Show’ Original Series

The National Football Association (NBA) and Enjoy Basketball have announced a new original content collaboration titled “Enjoy the NBA Trivia Show.”

The three-episode series marks a significant integration of creator-led media into the league’s official digital ecosystem, featuring prominent basketball personality Kenny Beecham and his longtime collaborators.

The series will be distributed globally across the NBA App, NBA TV, and Enjoy Basketball’s YouTube channels, targeting a younger, digitally native demographic through gamified storytelling and basketball history.

From Hobbyist to Official League Partner

Kenny Beecham, who founded Enjoy Basketball in 2022 alongside Cole and Cody Hock, has transitioned from a viral YouTube creator into a Tier-1 media partner for the league. The new series features Beecham alongside Pierre Andresen, Mike Heard, and Darrick Miller, testing their knowledge on the season’s most critical moments.

Commenting on the announcement, Beecham, said: “I feel like I need to pinch myself because this is a lifelong dream.”

“The NBA recognizes our voice and message and allows us to express that,” he said.

Emphasising the value of Beecham’s community-driven approach, NBA associate vice president and strategic content initiatives lead, Louis Gilbert, added: “Kenny Beecham and the Enjoy Basketball team have built an authentic connection with a new generation of fans.”

“This collaboration underscores the NBA’s commitment to celebrating the game and educating fans in new ways,” Gilbert noted.

Diversifying the NBA’s Content Portfolio

The partnership is part of a broader “Creator Strategy” by the NBA to foster authentic connections with a new generation of fans who prioritize entertainment-led sports coverage over traditional box-score reporting.

Key components of the Enjoy Basketball-NBA ecosystem include:

  • Alternate Telecasts: Beecham will host an alternate broadcast for the Pistons-Hornets game on the NBA App and League Pass starting today.
  • Access Granted: A behind-the-scenes series developed in partnership with the Charlotte Hornets focusing on the daily lives of NBA rookies.
  • The Creator Cup: Beecham is confirmed to appear at the NBA Creator Cup this summer, further embedding the brand into the league’s marquee event calendar.
