DAZN has announced a new collaboration with TikTok that will see National League football streamed live and free via TikTok LIVE.

The partnership launched last November 8 with Southend United vs Carlisle United broadcast on the @dazn_nationalleague TikTok channel, offering fans open access to professional football without a subscription.

Commenting on the collaboration, CEO of growth markets at DAZN, Pete Oliver, said the collaboration advances the platform’s commitment to accessibility and digital fan engagement.

“We’re working with clubs to grow their engagement, tell their stories and reach wider audiences.”

“DAZN is helping make football more accessible and creating opportunities for clubs to thrive in the digital era,” Oliver said.

National League CEO, Phil Alexander, highlighted the partnership’s strategic timing as the league campaigns for increased promotion places into the EFL.

“By making National League football available live and free… we’re giving fans everywhere the chance to connect with the game they love, while building momentum for the 3UP campaign.”

TikTok UK sports lead, Abbie Raybould, said football remains one of the platform’s strongest content verticals.

“This collaboration will bring fans closer to their favourite clubs.”

The move positions TikTok as a new broadcast platform for live sport, reflecting changing audience behaviours and the increasing importance of mobile-first, social-native viewing experiences.

Beyond match streaming, DAZN and TikTok will jointly deliver a workshop for all 72 National League clubs to boost storytelling, live content production, and digital engagement capabilities.

The announcement precedes the league’s 3UP Day of Action on November 15, which calls for three promotion places into the EFL, backed by clubs, supporters and the Football Supporters Association.
