Atletico Madrid has confirmed the renewal of the club’s kit sponsorship deal with Nike, which will see the partnership eclipse over 30 years.

The long-term deal extension will last until the end of the 2034/35 season, with Nike continuing to manufacture and design Atletico men’s and women’s first team kits, as well as training apparel and provide other manufactured equipment.

Atletico first partnered with Nike in 2001 becoming its technical sponsor, therefore beginning to design kits for Los Colchoneros and fostering a close relationship between the club, the US sportswear giant and the club’s fans.

The La Liga club stated the deal extension will focus on the “ambition to keep growing together”, with Nike also committed to backing both the men’s and women’s teams.

Atletico partnership portfolio has expanded recenetly, where the latest agreement between Atlético Madrid and their front-of-shirt sponsor, Riyadh Air, has granted the airline the naming rights for the club’s stadium, now known as the Riyadh Air Metropolitano.

Atletico has continued its commercial push by sealing sponsorship agreements with the likes of Chilliz, Betano and K8 to help the club drive revenues and maintain its position as one of Spain’s and Europe’s largest football clubs.
