The Melbourne Mavericks have officially confirmed the renewal of their partnership with Hyundai as the official automotive partner for the upcoming 2025 Suncorp Super Netball (SSN) season.

This renewal signifies continuing collaboration with the Sports Entertainment Network (SEN), allowing Hyundai to provide added benefits to Mavericks members, including a rebate of up to $1000 on the purchase of a new vehicle.

Commenting on the extension, Mavericks GM, Shae Bolton-Brown, said: “Hyundai has been an invaluable partner in our journey thus far.  We are incredibly thankful to Hyundai for backing us, and we look forward to building on that relationship in 2025.”

Hyundai Australia director of marketing and product, Andrew Tuitahi, added: “We are proud to extend our partnership with the Mavericks and Amy Parmenter.”

“Netball is one of Australia’s most loved sports, and we’re committed to strengthening its future by supporting both elite athletes and the Mavs Academy at the grassroots level,” he said.

Hyundai will also take on the role of presenting partner for the Mavs Academy, which is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of netball talent.

This initiative promises to deliver vital resources aimed at assisting young athletes in overcoming obstacles and achieving their aspirations in the sport.

In addition, the partnership includes a renewal of the player sponsorship with Amy Parmenter, the Mavericks’ captain and member of the Australian Diamonds national team.

Parmenter will act as Hyundai’s ambassador throughout the season, further enhancing the brand’s presence within the netball community.

Hyundai’s commitment to corporate social responsibility is illustrated through the Hyundai Help for Kids Initiative, designed to make a positive impact on the lives of children in need.

The Melbourne Mavericks will collaborate with Hyundai to support this initiative, striving to create meaningful opportunities for young individuals.
