The Kookaburras and Hockeyroos are poised to embark on a new Olympic cycle in partnership with ASICS, as Hockey Australia announced a three-and-a-half-year extension with the apparel and footwear brand.

This extension, solidifying ASICS as the official and exclusive footwear partner for both national teams, ensures collaboration will continue through to the end of 2028, extending a relationship that has now reached a decade.

The renewed partnership guarantees that the Hockeyroos and Kookaburras will have access to ASICS’ cutting-edge high-performance hockey footwear at a pivotal time in their sporting journey.

Upcoming events include seasons six to nine of the FIH Pro League, the 2026 World Cup scheduled in the Netherlands and Belgium, and the highly anticipated Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games.

Commenting on the partnership, CEO of Hockey Australia, David Pryles, said: “ASICS has been an integral part of our rich legacy on the world stage for many years.”

“We share an unwavering commitment to performance, innovation, and athlete well-being, and I’m absolutely thrilled that ASICS will remain a vital force in driving the success of our Kookaburras and Hockeyroos until at least the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games,” he said.

Managing Director of ASICS Oceania, Mark Brunton, added: “We are thrilled to extend our decade-long partnership with Hockey Australia, continuing to equip their teams and staff with the latest in performance footwear.”

Through this partnership with Hockey Australia, ASICS aims not only to support elite athletes but also to motivate and inspire the next generation of hockey talent.
