2022 Australian Grand Prix Secures Marriott Bonvoy Partnership

As the Formula One (F1) 2022 Australian Grand Prix draws closer to its return on 8-10 April, the Australian Grand Prix Corporation has announced a new partnership with Marriott Bonvoy.

The partnership will see Marriott Bonvoy members and guests receive exclusive benefits and experiences at the Grand Prix and The Ritz-Carlton in Melbourne.

As part of the benefits and experiences, members and guests will have the chance to receive tickets to the Glamour on the Grid cocktail party to kick off the Grand Prix, receive a lap of the circuit in a course car, receive a Pit Canopy experience, or receive a Pit Lan walk to see F1 cars up close.

Outside of member opportunities, the partnership will also see Marriott Bonvoy take over the Paddock Lounge at the Grand Prix for the third consecutive year, with an exclusive The Ritz-Carlton Terrace to be built.

Marriott International area vice president for Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific, Sean Hunt, said: “The Australian Grand Prix is a truly landmark event, and a great opportunity for us to showcase the exceptional experiences and unrivalled access that our Marriott Bonvoy members can enjoy.”

“With the return of the Formula One Heineken Australian Grand Prix, we are excited to host our members for an unforgettable, exhilarating trackside experience, and to bring our Marriott Bonvoy Moments to life,” Hunt said.

Australian Grand Prix Corporation CEO, Andrew Westacott, said: “We’re thrilled to collaborate with The Ritz-Carlton and Marriott Bonvoy ahead of the Formula One Heineken Australian Grand Prix 2022.”

“The Marriott Bonvoy program embodies exceptional experiences and first-class hospitality, which are synonymous with Formula One, making this the perfect collaboration for fans,” Westacott said.

The partnership follows a number of recent announcements from the Australian Grand Prix Corporation ahead of the event, including a three-year partnership with Idle Hour Vodka and a new partnership with TCL Electronics.
