Xbox has agreed to a deal with the French Football Federation (FFF), which will see them become the official gaming partner for both the Men’s and Woman’s national sides.
The partnership will focus on some of the core values for both organisations including, diversity and inclusion along with empowering football fans around the globe.
Commenting on the deal, FFF marketing and economic development director, François Vasseur said: “We are delighted to partner with Xbox. Xbox is a world-renowned and innovative brand that shares fundamental values with the FFF, such as diversity and inclusion, as well as gaming and its accessibility to all,”
“The brand’s commitment to amateur football in particular and to the French national teams promises great stories together.”
In a statement released by Xbox, they noted pride in the deal and how the company is ready to connect and engage with French football fans around the world.
In correlation with the deal, Xbox will be launching its newest initiative ‘Xbox FC’, a program that will take a key focus on supporting and continuing to develop amateur football in France.
Xbox will provide junior clubs around the country with necessary training facilities and equipment, select clubs will also receive renovations and a dedicated Xbox gaming room.
Xbox will also partner with women’s national team player, Sakina Karchaoui who started and developed her skills within the local clubs of France and is committed to the program to help the junior clubs.
