estern United has announced a partnership extension with Tasman Logistics Services to become one of the A-League club’s major partners, and a new partnership with Happsa Group.

As part of the Tasman Logistics deal, the company will retain naming rights to the Chairman’s Club, feature on the club’s media wall, matchday LED, on-field bolsters, the big screen, and player and staff matchday uniforms, as well as gaining a feature on the front of the club’s alternate jerseys.

Western United CEO, Chris Pehlivanis, said the A-League side is excited to have Tasman Logistics Services increase their commitment for the 2020/21 A-League season.

“We are delighted that Tasman Logistics Services have extended their partnership to become one of our major partners,” Pehlivanis said.

“We look forward to seeing their logo on our stylish alternate kit this season,” he said.

Tasman Logistics Services CEO, Ivan Vanis, said he is looking forward to supporting the young club as a co-major partner alongside Simonds Homes.

“Our partnership with Western United is strengthened once again as we sign on as a co-major partner,” Vanis said.

“We are delighted by the opportunity and honoured to have our name on the front of the alternate shirt.

“This shows once again our faith and belief in this amazing group of people both on and off the field.

“We are very much looking forward to a big season,” he said.

Western United also announced a new partnership with Happsa Group set to become the club’s official commercial cleaning partner for the 2020/21 A-League season.

As part of the deal, Happsa will feature on the back of Western United’s A-League and NPL sides’ shorts, as well as the Calder United NPLW seniors’ and girls’ teams.

Discussing the Happsa deal, Pehlivanis said: “This is an exciting partnership, and we look forward to having Happsa on board.”

“We’re thrilled that Happsa will be visible on our shorts, not just for our A-League team, but across all our teams including our NPL sides and the Calder United NPLW sides,” he said.

Happsa Group managing director of operations, Harry Georgiou, said the national commercial cleaning, maintenance, and security company is proud to support Western United.

“Supporting grassroots sports and giving back to local community is an important part of our business,” Georgiou said.

“Our goal was to work with and support a club that is developing a women’s pathway soccer program.

“Western United are developing this program for juniors through to the women’s league.

“Western United is a club with a strong community focus who are building world-class training facilities and programs for their men’s and women’s program.

“We are proud to be aligned with such a progressive club who will no doubt produce the next generation of Socceroos and Matildas,” he said.
