The University Campus of Football Business (UCFB) has formed a strategic partnership with the International Sports Convention (ISC) to launch the ISC Professional Network Booster for its MSc International Sports Management students, beginning in January 2025.
This collaboration aims to bridge the gap between academic training and practical industry connections, positioning students to gain invaluable insights from sports business leaders.
Through the ISC Professional Network Booster, UCFB students will access exclusive networking opportunities, including full participation in the 2025 International Sports Convention at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The initiative will offer students entry to multiple ISC events and resources, including the ISC Women’s Sport Business Summit, ISC HR + Leadership seminar, and ISC Academy’s online courses in sports business.
Jane Abbey, UCFB’s International Sports Management Course Leader, emphasised the program’s potential to deepen students’ industry engagement, stating, “This partnership with ISC is a significant step forward in enriching the learning experience for our students. At UCFB, we are committed to providing our students with the tools and connections they need to excel in their careers.”
Nigel Fletcher, Chief Executive at ISC, echoed this enthusiasm, saying, “Our goal is to help develop the future leaders of sports management by offering them direct access to the people shaping the future of sports business.”
In addition to live events, the network booster will provide online lectures from seasoned professionals and a certification acknowledging participants’ achievements. The ISC partnership reflects a strong industry alignment, aiming to equip UCFB graduates with competitive skills and connections as they transition into sports management roles globally.
