Tribal Sport has signed a deal to become the official compression partner of the Gold Coast SUNS AFLW team.
AFLW players will have access to the Sam Virgo Performance range which includes women’s specific athleticwear and undergarments.
“The girls have been wearing the Sam Virgo Performance products around the club and we’ve had really great feedback from them,” SUNS Head of Women’s Football, Fiona McLarty, said.
“It’s been really beneficial for us to be able to provide our players with high-quality performance products.”
Tribal Sport’s General Manager, Josh Lake, said the company was excited to be on board for the SUNS’ inaugural AFLW season.
“Women’s sport is huge for us and to be involved with the SUNS’ AFLW program is a great opportunity for Tribal Sport.”
“At Tribal Sport we were one of the first companies in Australia to produce performance wear for women suitable to be worn in AFLW matches.
“We see a lot of great synergies between the SUNS and Tribal Sport and we’re extremely proud to be involved with Gold Coast’s first female national sporting team.”
The Sam Virgo Performance range includes full-length tights for recovery, short black training shorts and gameday-approved neutral colour performance shorts.
Tribal Sport joins Kool Kids Training College, Sumo, Harbour Town Premium Outlets, Mackay Regional Council and Griffith University as partners of the club’s women’s program.
