New York-based cap manufacturer, New Era, has been named the official headwear licensee of the Tottenham Hotspurs and will produce the collection for the club’s global fan-base.
This multi-year agreement will see New Era produce dual-branded Spurs headwear, for sale online and in-store retail channels, including the Tottenham Experience store at the new stadium.
The Spurs collection will also be available through New Era online and New Era retail stores and will feature a number of headwear silhouettes including the 9FIFTY snapback, 9FORTY adjustable and knits.
Head of Retail Merchandising at Tottenham Hotspur, Victoria Hawksley said: “We are delighted to begin this exciting relationship with New Era, recognised as the leading brand in the headwear category.
“We look forward to introducing the new collection to our fans both here in the UK and in key overseas markets.”
Vice President EMEA at New Era, Paul Gils, said he is excited to release the headwear collection for the Club’s fans.
“Tottenham Hotspur is built upon the passion of its fans and we are absolutely thrilled to be launching our headwear collection to those supporters at such an exciting time for the Club,” Gills said.
The headwear brand also holds relationships with a host of major sports teams and leagues such as the National Football League (NFL), Major League Baseball (MLB) and National Basketball Association (NBA).
