With another week of the NRL’s offseason in the books, here are all the latest commercial partnerships from around the league.
Brisbane Broncos
The Brisbane Broncos have announced a three-year partnership extension with National Storage.
As part of the extension, the brand’s logo will feature on the back of the Broncos’ NRL and NRLW home and away playing jerseys.
Brisbane Broncos CEO, Dave Donaghy, said the Broncos were excited to continue their partnership with the Queensland brand.
“National Storage is born and bred in Brisbane and a fantastic success story for our city and our state,” Donaghy said.
“We are proud at the Brisbane Broncos to be able to continue our partnership with a local business that has its roots in the local community and has grown to be such a success across Australia and beyond,” he said.
St George Illawarra Dragons
St George Illawarra have named ELMO Software as the club’s official HR and payroll solutions partner, with brand assets to feature across Dragons’ home games and digital channels.
ELMO Software CEO and founder, Danny Lessem, said: “ELMO Software is thrilled to partner with the St George Illawarra Dragons and exclusively provide innovative cloud HR and payroll solutions to support the club, on and off the field.”
Newcastle Knights
The Dragons weren’t the only NRL club to partner with ELMO Software this week, as the Newcastle Knights announced the brand as the official payroll and human resources services partner of the club.
ELMO’s logo will feature on the rear of the club’s NRL shorts in 2022.
Canberra Raiders
The Canberra Raiders have welcomed Palmerbet as the club’s official wagering partner for the 2022 NRL season in a three-year partnership.
The company will feature across the back of the club’s NRL jerseys and have a strong presence with in-stadium signage and across digital channels.
Gold Coast Titans
The Gold Coast Titans have introduced Gold Coast-based clothing company, Ringers Western as the official uniform partner of the club for the next two seasons, providing the off-field attire for the club’s NRL and NRLW squads.
Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks
The Sharks have revealed Australia’s biggest telehealth platform, Pilot, will take its place on the front of the Sharks NRL playing shorts as part of a new major partnership.
The partnership will see the club promote men’s physical and mental health, with the club now having completed its apparel partners for 2022.
Sharks CEO, Dino Mezzatesta, said: “The health and well-being of our players is of paramount importance and this partnership with Pilot is about making sure our players can perform at their best, both on and off the field.”
“But further to that, Pilot is set up to take the stress out of men’s healthcare and if we raise awareness as to the services they provide and help our members, fans and the wide rugby league community to better take care of themselves, everyone can be a winner,” Mezzatesta said.
Wests Tigers
Lastly, the Wests Tigers have announced electrical motors brand, TECO, as a corporate partner ahead of the 2022 NRL season.
The company first launched in Taiwan and will assist the club in promoting its ‘Year of the Tiger’ campaign in line with the Lunar Year of the Tiger, hoping to engage Asian communities across Sydney and broader NSW.
TECO general manager/director, Troy Evans, said: “TECO is extremely proud to announce a new corporate partnership, born in the Year of the Tiger, with Wests Tigers — a partnership that will be active and energetic.”
“Wests Tigers have a rich lineage; a tapestry of two great clubs who harnessed diversity and transformed in a quest for elevated levels of competitiveness.
“TECO identifies with this and aligns with the Wests Tigers spirit, and we believe it will drive the success that we both seek to achieve in the Year of the Tiger,” Evans said.
