Top AFL Commercial Partnerships: Carlton, Sydney, And More

It’s been another packed week of AFL partnerships, here are some of the top commercial partnerships that you may have missed.

The Carlton Football Club has announced a new partnership with ADCO Construction who will join as the official partner of Carlton’s Indigenous advocacy, education, and awareness-raising activities for the new two years.

On the partnership, Carlton CEO, Cain Liddle, said: ““We look forward to working with ADCO as we continue our Indigenous advocacy, education and awareness-raising activities to make a stand against racism and improve cultural awareness throughout the community.”

“A key component of the vision we have outlined in our strategic plan is to ensure that our people feel the strongest possible sense of belonging to our club, so to align with an organisation as equally as invested in celebrating Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture and heritage, is extremely important to us,” he said.

ADCO Constructions CEO, Neil Harding, said: “ADCO is incredibly pleased to partner with the Carlton Football Club, supporting its Indigenous advocacy, education and awareness-raising activities.”

“We look forward to partnering with a respected and important Australian organisation that is clearly aligned to ours in terms of Indigenous advocacy,” he said.

Elsewhere, the Sydney Swans partnered with the Heart Foundation to help raise funds for the organisation.

The club will be involved in various Heart Foundation events including Jump Rope for Heart and Give with Heart Day.

Heart Foundation interim CEO, Professor Garry Jennings, said: “We are thrilled to announce this collaboration with the Sydney Swans, which will raise awareness of the Heart Foundation’s important work and give more Aussie hearts a sporting chance.”

Sydney Swans CEO, Tom Harley, said: “Supporting the Heart Foundation across these key initiatives will help to grow awareness of the impact of heart disease on Australian families and the work the Heart Foundation does to prevent it.”

“We look forward to working with the Heart Foundation and joining them on their mission,” he said.

The Western Bulldogs have formed an official partnership with organ and tissue donation organisation, DonateLife.

DonateLife will be the match-day partner for the Bulldogs’ game for Round 17.

Bulldogs’ CEO, Ameet Bains, said: “As a club we have seen first-hand the amazing impact organ and tissue donation can have on people’s lives, and we are proud to play our part in raising awareness through formalising a partnership with DonateLife.”

“We encourage our fans and the wider AFL community to have a conversation with family and friends about organ donation and arm yourself with the right information about the positive impact it can have,” he said.
