Tennis Australia Announces Data Rights Partnership With Stats Perform

Tennis Australia has announced Stats Perform as their exclusive distributor of live streaming and ultrafast data to sports betting operators, including cutting-edge new features to make every game, set and match mean more.

The multi-year partnership will cover the Australian Open, Australian Open Qualifying, and other Tennis Australia tournaments.

Tennis Australia will also make use of Stats Perform’s Opta Facts, PressBox Graphics and extensive news services as they aim to build bigger audiences as Australian athletes compete around the world.

Additionally, Stats Perform will team up with Tennis Australia’s integrity unit to monitor for potential match manipulation.

This will see Stats Perform provide access to their core services on competition and match integrity, including pre-tournament risk assessments as well as monitoring, intelligence and analysis of the global markets along with performance analysis and investigation of any instances of suspected match manipulation.

Commenting on the partnership, Tennis Australia chief revenue officer, Cedric Conelis, said: “Stats Perform has a reputation for trust and innovation, making them a clear choice and providing more opportunities for us to reach and engage with our fans.”

Stats Perform CEO, Carl Mergele, added: “Our focus is on extending the incredible entertainment on the court or field, to help those in the sports business capture more fan attention, for longer.”

“We are honoured to have been chosen to work with Tennis Australia – an organisation which shares our goal of protecting and elevating the fan experience, for new and existing tennis audiences across the globe,” he said.

The announcement follows Tennis Australia’s partnership extensions with Kia and Chubb.
