Off the back of their extension with Australian Turf Club, TAB has announced a partnership with Queensland’s fastest growing racing clubs.

For the next five-years, TAB will be the wagering partner for the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Ipswich and Toowoomba Turf Clubs.

The partnership will also include the development of major race day activations, new media content via the TAB App and enhanced coverage of the race clubs via Sky Racing and Radio TAB.

Commenting on the partnership, Tabcorp’s chief customer officer, Jenni Barnett, said: “This is a new era for us in Queensland.”

“These are more than wagering sponsorships, they’re genuine partnerships to use our entire ecosystem to grow each club. From creating activations that attract people to the track to using our media network to promote each club.

“TAB is the only company that offers a digital, retail, television and radio broadcast capability to assist each club to innovate and grow.  We’re really excited with what we can achieve in each community.

“This is an opportunity for us to help grow Queensland’s richest race day in Magic Millions, innovate night racing and partner with the clubs as they host more Saturday metropolitan race meetings.

“We’re rapidly transforming TAB with a new TAB App, new products on the way and a revamped retail experience. We’re customer obsessed in everything we do and we’re really excited about the growth opportunities moving forward.

Gold Coast Turf Club chairman, Brett Cook, added: “Once again the collaboration between each of the four Clubs has enabled the best outcomes for all involved and can only enhance programming, night racing strategies and media opportunities in the future.”

On the opportunities the partnership will provide, Sunshine Coast Turf Club chairman, Petter Boyce, said: “We are excited about the new opportunities and racing innovation that this significant long-term partnership will deliver.”

“We look forward to working with TAB and the other Clubs to further strengthen and celebrate racing in Queensland,” he said.

In addition to the four racing clubs, Brisbane is expected to announce a betting partner soon.
