Supercars Announces Official Filtration Partner

RYCO filters

The Repco Supercars Championship has announced a new partnership with RYCO, making them their official filtration partner, after the pair collaborated on a range of oil, air and fuel filters, which are set to debut in 2023.

The deal will see all new control parts feature in all championship cars, which follows months of development.

Commenting on RYCO, Supercars head of motorsport, Adrian Burgess, said: “RYCO’s innovative, world-first filtration technology will enable the Gen3 series the best chance of ensuring engine mileage and as a result will significantly improve sustained race performance for teams.”

On the partnership, RYCO executive general manager, Stuart Chandler, added: “I am extremely excited by our new partnership with Supercars as the ‘Official Filtration Partner’ of the category through being the ‘control’ supplier of oil, air, and fuel filters.”

“In addition, this partnership cements RYCO Filters as the premium motorsport filter brand in Australian and New Zealand,” he said.

Additionally, the new filters, which are a direct response to the transition to the Gen3 platform, will significantly reduce competition costs by using more affordable engines and longer maintenance intervals.

The announcement comes after 195,000 people attended the first Bathurst 1000 since COVID-19 restrictions were lifted.
