Supercars has forged a strategic promotional alliance with iconic theme park Dreamworld to drive tourism and fan engagement ahead of the 2026 Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500.
Announced ahead of the marquee street race in Surfers Paradise, the commercial collaboration links two of Queensland’s largest entertainment entities to bolster regional visitation and reward spectators attending the opening round of the Supercars Finals. Under the terms of the arrangement running from October 17 to October 30, valid ticket holders for the Gold Coast 500 can access Dreamworld entry for fifty dollars, while children holding valid event tickets receive free admission to the theme park. In return, Dreamworld guests gain opportunities to win tickets to the premier motorsport event.
The partnership launch featured Supercars rookie Rylan Gray driving his Shell VPower Ford Mustang show car directly into Dreamworld, staging an eye catching activation to deliver event tickets to attending families. The timing coincides with a critical juncture in the motorsport calendar, as the championship battle intensifies and the top ten drivers commence their finals campaign on the streets of Surfers Paradise from October 23 to October 25.
Supercars Head of Commercial Craig Dontas emphasised that the collaboration leverages the shared cultural footprint of both entertainment institutions to deliver tangible value for attendees.
“The Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500 is one of the biggest events on the Gold Coast, and like Dreamworld has been creating unforgettable memories for visitors for decades.
“This partnership is about rewarding fans and showcasing the incredible experiences available on the Gold Coast. We’re excited to give Dreamworld guests the chance to be part of the action when the Supercars Finals get underway in Surfers Paradise next weekend,” Dontas said.
Dontas further noted the high stakes surrounding the racing schedule.
“The Gold Coast 500 is a must-see event, and for the thousands of interstate visitors…
“With the championship fight intensifying and the top 10 drivers beginning their Finals campaign on the Gold Coast, it promises to be an unmissable weekend for motorsport fans,” Dontas added.
Echoing these sentiments, Dreamworld Sales and Marketing Director Chris Osborne highlighted the regional economic benefits and commercial synergies generated by aligning Australia’s biggest theme park with a premier national sporting championship.
“We’re incredibly excited to bring together Australia’s biggest theme park with one of the Gold Coast’s biggest events, the 2026 Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500. Osborne said.
“This is a fantastic partnership for our region, bringing visitors together and showcasing the very best of the Gold Coast.
“We’re looking forward to adding to the excitement with some amazing Dreamworld offers for Supercars fans, available both at the track and through the event app,” Osborne said.
With live coverage broadcast across Seven, 7plus, and Fox Sports via Kayo, the partnership reinforces the commercial strategy of pairing elite motorsport entertainment with regional tourism initiatives to maximise fan participation and economic yield.
