Royal Randwick Partners With Luxury Car Brand Bentley

The Australian Turf Club has signed a new 12-month partnership with luxury car manufacturer, Bentley, as Royal Randwick prepares to host the world’s richest thoroughbred race on turf.

Bentley will be the Official Premium Luxury Car Partner of the Australian Turf Club and will become the Presenting Partner of Royal Randwick’s Chairman’s Club and the exclusive Chairman’s Club Lounge and Bar.

Bentley will partner with two feature races at the Everest Carnival at Royal Randwick – the $500,000 Bentley St Leger Stakes on Everest Day, and the Group 3 $160,000 Bentley Angst Stakes run on 12 October.

The Group 3 $200,000 Bentley PJ Bell Stakes will be run on Day 1 of The Championships at Royal Randwick.

At major race days at this year’s Everest Carnival at Royal Randwick, vehicle displays will be held at the new Bentley Pavilion.

Bentley vehicles will be featured for select Group 1 races including trophy deliveries and chauffeur services for VIP customers.

Australian Turf Club Executive General Manager Commercial, Corina Black, said Sydney’s world-famous racecourse Royal Randwick would see an extra touch of luxury.

“Royal Randwick is renowned for its racing prestige and world-class performances on the track and we are thrilled to add a new partnership with Bentley,” Ms Black said.

“The Everest Carnival and the world’s richest race on turf at Royal Randwick have captured attention around the world, just like the Bentley brand.”

David Simpson, Country Manager for Australia and New Zealand from Bentley Motors, said: “Bentley is excited to be a part of this wonderful 12-month partnership with the Australian Turf Club.

“What better way to kick off a new partnership than in Bentley’s centenary year.

“As Bentley reaches its 100th year, we celebrate the past, the present and the exciting future that lies ahead and we look forward to the wonderful opportunities this partnership will bring for Bentley and Australian Turf Club.”

It is the first time Bentley has partnered with thoroughbred racing in Australia.
