Internationally acclaimed family holiday brand Royal Caribbean has been announced as the Official Holiday Partner and Membership Partner for the Brisbane Heat starting from the 2025-26 season.

This partnership aligns with the launch of Brisbane Heat Memberships, which are now available for purchase, following a record-breaking season last year with 18,000 enthusiastic members enjoying the KFC Big Bash League (BBL) and Weber Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL).

Commenting on the partnership, general manager of commercial, marketing & corporate affairs for the Brisbane Heat, Pete Lock, said: “The Heat brings families together every summer,”

“The start of summer is crucial for both the WBBL and BBL, coinciding with Royal Caribbean’s peak business period as they entertain holidaymakers in stunning locations.

“As part of our partnership, we are excited to introduce a cruise holiday giveaway for one lucky member, along with various opportunities to access the exciting offerings from Royal Caribbean,” Lock said.

In addition, adding his sentiments to the partnership, vice president and managing director for Australia and New Zealand at Royal Caribbean, Gavin Smith, added: “We’re thrilled to see these two iconic brands coming together.”

“Our aim is to create engaging, unforgettable experiences for fans, both on and off the field,” Smith noted.

As Royal Caribbean gears up for the Australian summer season, Smith highlighted their commitment to providing exceptional entertainment and memorable experiences for Queensland families against the backdrop of thrilling cricket action.

As part of this partnership, Royal Caribbean will be featured on match days at The Gabba, serving as the presenting partner of the popular Gabba Park ‘Fan Zone’.

Additionally, they will take ownership of ‘The Royal Caribbean Countdown’, an exciting countdown moment that enhances the match day atmosphere and engages fans in anticipation of each game throughout the season.

Royal Caribbean has a history spanning over 50 years of delivering memorable holiday experiences for families and friends, particularly for those sailing from Australia.

This collaboration with the Brisbane Heat aims to expand that experience by offering Heat members exclusive perks such as sneak-peek product updates, special weekend getaway giveaways, and family-oriented community events during the summer season.

As the Australian sailing season begins, featuring an array of adventures and the much-anticipated return of the Voyager of the Seas to Brisbane.

With 45 getaway options to destinations including the South Pacific and New Zealand available for Aussie holidaymakers between November 2025 and April 2026, there’s something on offer to delight every member of the family.
