Roland-Garros, OPPO Extend Partnership To 2023 Tournament

The French Tennis Federation (FFT) and technology company, OPPO, have extended their premium partnership at Roland-Garros until the 2023 tournament.

The partnership will see the pair collaborate on innovation and technology to give fans the optimal user experience at each edition of the tournament.

Commenting on the deal, FFT president, Gilles Moretton, said: “The FFT is delighted to renew this agreement with OPPO, a loyal partner with whom we share a desire for innovation.”

“This collaboration with an international brand reinforces our strategy to increase Roland-Garros’s influence worldwide,” he said.

OPPO president of global marketing, William Liu, added: ““Inspiration Ahead means showing confidence and poise when we are moving forward.”

“It encourages us to remain resolved and graceful as brave the storm and break the stagnation.

“Participating sports events is fantastic for OPPO to convey the mutually inspirational spirit and communicate OPPO’s technology innovation experience with our global users,” he said.

Additionally, OPPO, who previously had extensive visibility from show courts, will deliver the ‘RG x OPPO photo gallery’, which is a digital photo exhibition taken on OPPO’s latest device.

The company will also collaborate on the ‘shot of the day’, a daily video series showing the best shot or rally, which will be shared over the tournament’s digital platforms.

The announcement comes after Amazon added Universal Tennis to its sport coverage portfolio.
