Paralympics Australia has named Simon Rabbitt as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO). Rabbitt, who will assume the role on January 6, 2025, brings over 25 years of leadership experience across sports, major events, media, and global interactive games.
A Proven Track Record
In his most recent position as Chief Financial and Operating Officer at Mighty Kingdom, Rabbitt demonstrated strong leadership by developing and executing effective business and financial strategies. His extensive background also includes key executive roles at Rugby Australia, FremantleMedia, and the FIBA Women’s World Cup 2022.
Paralympics Australia CEO Cameron Murray highlighted Rabbitt’s contributions:
“Simon’s strategic, commercial, and financial expertise will be invaluable as we work toward the most successful era of Paralympic sport in Australia’s history. His leadership and ability to achieve results are exactly what we need to grow the Paralympic Movement.”
