According to Insider Gaming, the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) is set to be added to FIFA 23, as a brand-new mode, on March 14th or 15th.

The inclusion of the NWSL in FIFA 23 is part of EA’s ongoing efforts to promote diversity and inclusion in their games. Earlier this year, during their third-quarter earnings call, EA reported that FIFA 23 is on track to be the “biggest title in franchise history”.

Despite the success of FIFA 23, which EA said could be the largest title in the franchise’s history, the game will also be the final one under the 29-year-long partnership between FIFA and EA.

EA will be rebranding its series to EA Sports FC, with more announcements expected later this year.

The move also comes after EA SPORTS added the Women’s Super league and Women’s Champions league to the franchise.
