NBA Legend Carmelo Anthony is Heading to Australia Ahead of NBL Season

Ahead of the upcoming National Basketball League season, major partners Foot Locker, Ball Magnets and the Shifen Group have announced that NBA legend Carmelo Anthony will be heading to Australia in September. 

Anthony, known for his scoring prowess and charismatic presence on and off the court, is a 10-time NBA All-Star and Olympic gold medalist who has left a lasting impact on the sport of basketball. He is visiting Australia to host a number of intimate gatherings and training camps as the NBA looks to ignite passion and excitement amongst fans. 

The events will be held in Melbourne and Perth, giving fans unparalleled access to Anthony’s expertise both on the court and in personal settings.

An Evening with Carmelo Anthony

Location: The Timberyard, Melbourne
Fans will enjoy an intimate evening with Anthony as he shares stories from his career, discusses his NBA journey, and reflects on life beyond basketball. A Q&A session will allow attendees to interact directly with Anthony. 

Basketball Camp with Carmelo Anthony
Date: Wednesday, 18 September 2024
Location: Ball 360, Melbourne
Aspiring players will gain valuable insights into Anthony’s techniques and strategies at this comprehensive basketball camp, enhancing their skills under his guidance.

Perth Events:

Basketball Camp with Carmelo Anthony
Date: Saturday, 21 September 2024
Location: Malvern Sports and Recreation Centre, Perth
Young athletes in Perth will have the opportunity to develop their skills with Anthony’s guidance, focusing on both fundamental and advanced basketball strategies.

An Evening with Carmelo Anthony
Date: Sunday, 22 September 2024
Location: Metro City, Perth
Perth fans will be treated to an inspiring evening featuring personal stories, reflections, and a Q&A session with Anthony.
