LaLiga Announces Partnership With Stats Perform
LaLiga and sports data company, Stats Perform, have announced a long-term partnership to improve fan experiences using official data and live streaming.
The five-year partnership will allow Stats Perform to collect and manage live data and player statistics from over 800 LaLiga matches.
LaLiga’s coverage over the season will expand to include global broadcasters, sponsors, publishers, fantasy providers, and sportsbooks.
Commenting on the partnership, LaLiga audiovisual director, Melcior Sole, said: “Stats Perform’s unrivalled collection expertise, distribution and famous Opta brand means quality experiences for LaLiga fans and bettors.”
“Their focus on innovation and AI will shed new light and tell new stories about how we play, immersing our local and global audiences more deeply in the game.
“Stats Perform is the perfect partner for a forward-thinking league like us,” he said.
Chief commercial officer, for Stats Perform, Alex Rice, added: “The new deal demonstrates LaLiga’s commitment to growing its global appeal and providing a best-in-class experience for their fans.”
“We’re delighted and proud to be able to continue to bring such a high level of sports entertainment to our global media and betting partners and their customers,” he said.
Additionally, Stats Perform’s integrity services division will work together with LaLiga’s Integrity Unit to display all divisions of Spanish football for match manipulation activity.
LaLiga will now join Italy’s Serie A, France’s Ligue 1 and over 60 other football competitions in Stats Perform’s Bet Livestreams portfolio.
The announcement comes after Stats Perform announced a partnership with the 2021 Rugby League World Cup.
