International Olympic Committee Announces Olympic Documentary With Netflix Ahead Of Paris 2024

With just 64 days to go until the 2024 Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games kicks off, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) has announced a collaboration with Netflix to produce 3 new series.

The series, aiming to generate enthusiasm in the lead-up to Paris, is being brought to life by Religion of Sports, an American media company led by Tom Brady, Michael Strahan and Gotham Chopra, as well as the Olympic Channel. It will broadcast globally by the IOC’s Media Rights-Holders.

Stars of the show include Simone Biles, an American Gymnast who will feature in a four-part series chronicling her long-awaited return to the Games. Following Simone’s series, Sprint, the second series, will dive into the lives of the fastest athletes in the world, including Sha’Carri Richardson, Noah Lyles, and Shericka Jackson.

Olympic Men’s Basketball will be the third series, providing an inside look at the sport’s rising stars and medal contenders as they strive to qualify for Paris 2024 and ultimately compete for Olympic glory.

The second season of Sprint will debut post Paris 2024 and is produced by Box to Box Films, in partnership with the Olympic Channel. Olympic Men’s Basketball is a production by Words & Pictures, the Olympic Channel, and Higher Ground Productions, promising an exclusive insight into the journey of basketball’s future talents on the road to Paris 2024.
