Inter Miami Sells Out 2024 Tickets Despite Increased Prices

Inter Miami, the North American Major League Soccer (MLS) team, has experienced a surge in demand for Season Tickets for the upcoming 2024 MLS Regular Season. Despite implementing a substantial increase in prices across various sections of the DRV PNK Stadium, all Season Tickets have been sold out. This feat comes as the club gears up for its first full season with soccer icon Lionel Messi.

The price hike is evident not only in season tickets but also in single-match tickets, which will be made available for purchase at a later date. However, specific pricing details for individual match tickets have not been disclosed by the club.

This surge in ticket prices extends beyond Inter Miami’s home turf, as seen in matchups against other MLS teams. For instance, when facing the Columbus Crew, ticket prices soared to $382 for a standard seat and reached as high as $421 and $679 for premium seats. Tickets for regular matches not involving Miami were available for as low as $40.

Anticipation for the 2024 MLS season is heightened with the presence of Lionel Messi, whose arrival has sparked unprecedented commercial interest in the franchise. The club’s home games have consistently witnessed sell-out crowds, further underlining the impact of Messi’s presence.

Messi’s debut with Inter Miami in July this year, recorded the highest domestic single-network viewing figures for an MLS side since 2004, a milestone achieved through Apple TV, the global rightsholder of MLS. Beyond the spectatorship, Inter Miami clinched the Leagues Cup, an annual competition featuring clubs from MLS and Liga MX, with Messi contributing significantly to the team’s goal tally.

In August, Royal Caribbean, a prominent US cruise line, entered into a multi-year partnership with Inter Miami. Additionally, Ares Management, an alternative investment manager, injected a further $75 million into Inter Miami. This funding is earmarked for the development of the proposed Miami Freedom Park stadium and other growth initiatives.
