Disney has announced a new partnership with Formula 1, with the partnership including Mickey and friends branding.

This collaboration promises fans an exciting array of content, experiences, and merchandise that will launch worldwide.

United by a shared passion for creativity, entertainment, and innovation, Formula 1 and Disney are poised to deliver unforgettable moments that will connect fans across the globe.

Commenting on the collaboration, chief commercial officer of Formula 1, Emily Prazer, said: “Our collaboration with Disney is shaping up to be nothing short of spectacular.”

“Introducing the world of Mickey & Friends to our dedicated audience aligns perfectly with our strategy to expand beyond the sports realm and into a wider consumer market.

“With 820 million fans worldwide, we’re excited to share Disney’s magic with our community.

“Both brands have a legacy of pushing boundaries to deliver entertainment and excitement to millions, and I eagerly anticipate what our teams will create on and off the circuit,” Prazer said.

President of Disney Consumer Products, Tasia Filippatos, added: “As we celebrate nearly a century of Mickey Mouse & Friends, partnering with Formula 1 presents a unique opportunity to merge two entertainment giants.”

“This collaboration will lead to innovative products that fans will cherish. We are excited to unveil fresh content and experiences on a global scale, designed for both Disney and F1 enthusiasts,” Filippatos said.

In recent years, Formula 1 has witnessed an impressive surge in popularity, particularly among younger audiences.

Data indicates that over four million children aged 8-12 are actively following the sport in the EU and US, with a notable 54% of followers on TikTok and 40% on Instagram are now under the age of 25, highlighting the vibrant, youthful energy surrounding the sport.

Fans can follow Mickey & Friends on their Formula 1 journey by connecting with @mickeymouse and @f1 on social media, ensuring they stay informed about how these beloved characters will embrace life in the fast lane starting in 2026.
