Commonwealth Games Australia Launches ‘UNSTOPPABLE’

Commonwealth Games Australia (CGA) has launched “UNSTOPPABLE,” a multi-platform campaign marking one-year-to-go until the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games.

This initiative represents an investment in brand building and audience engagement, designed to amplify the profile of the Australian Commonwealth Games Team and enhance its commercial appeal.

Commenting on the initiative, CGA CEO Craig Phillips AM, said:”this reflects the identity and mindset of the Australian Commonwealth Games Team.”

“We’re proud to launch UNSTOPPABLE as the platform for storytelling about the athletes, the Games and the people behind the scenes that make our Team tick,” Philips said.

General Manager of TGI WILDCARD, Sam Fleming, added: “UNSTOPPABLE is built on the idea that our athletes don’t just perform, they persist.”

“It’s a campaign that showcases the preparation, commitment and resilience behind every performance,” Flemming expressed.

The “UNSTOPPABLE” campaign was developed in collaboration with sports marketing agency TGI WILDCARD, which secured the work following a competitive pitch process in late 2024. This engagement of a specialised agency underscores CGA’s commitment to a professionally executed marketing strategy for a major international event.

The campaign aims to showcase the “strength, determination and resilience” of Australian athletes, drawing on historical moments such as Cathy Freeman’s performance at Victoria 1994 and Emma McKeon’s medal haul at Birmingham 2022.

By highlighting these narratives, CGA seeks to build a compelling brand identity for the Australian team that resonates with the public and potential partners.
