Chain Announced Partnership with The New England Patriots


Blockchain software provider, Chain, have announced a multi-year partnership agreement with owners of the New England Patriots, Kraft Sports and Entertainment.

In addition to the Patriots, the sponsorship will also extend to their home field, Gillette Stadium, the surrounding shopping centre, Patriot Place, and Major League Soccer team, the New England Revolution.

As part of the partnership, Chain and Kraft Sports and Entertainment will look to develop state-of-the-art Web3 experiences.

Commenting on the partnership, Chain CEO, Deepak Thapliyal, said: “We are proud to partner with Kraft Sports and Entertainment to envision the future for Gillette Stadium, the New England Patriots and New England Revolution.”

“Our team is excited to help Kraft Sports and Entertainment build cutting edge experiences for stadium visitors utilizing Chain’s proprietary blockchain technology,” he said.

Kraft Sports and Entertainment vice president of sales, Murray Kohl, added: “The Patriots and Revolution, along with our tech partners, have always strived to be leaders in innovation.”

“From being the first pro sports team with a website and creating the first nightly internet show, to having the longest continuously running podcast in the world, we’ve embraced the opportunities that advances in technology have presented for us and our fans.

“Together with Chain, we’ll look to innovate that same way with their cutting-edge blockchain technology.

“Our fans will be able to connect with the Patriots and Revolution in ways never before possible,” he said.

The announcement follows the release of the NFL’s virtual reality game, NFL PRO ERA, as the sport continues to push innovation.
