Carlton Beats Membership Record For Seventh Consecutive Year

Carlton Football Club has broken its membership record for the seventh consecutive year in a row, reaching 81,303 members to date this year.

Since 2018 the Club’s membership base has grown by 31% (25,298 members), which has also translated into match-day attendance with an average home crowd of 47,487.

Carlton Football Club says they are “well on their way” to achieving their goal of 85,000 members by the end of the season.

Carlton CEO, Brian Cook, told club members: “Thank you for your ongoing support and being part of this significant milestone.”

“Our supporters can always be counted on to bring the noise and we play for you, our members, all 81,303 of you.

“Whether this is your first year as a member, fifth year or fiftieth year, thank you for your support.

“We can always count on the fans in Navy Blue to show up and get along to games whenever possible.

“Thank you for being a part of another record-breaking year for this great Club,” said Cook.

The AFL competition surpassed 1 million total members this year, with The West Coast Eagles and Richmond leading the membership tally.

North Melbourne along with last year’s Grand Finalists, Melbourne, and the Western Bulldogs Football Clubs also achieved record-breaking club membership figures this season.
