Bendigo Stadium Rebrands As Red Energy Arena

From June 2022 Bendigo Stadium will be relaunching as the Red Energy Arena.

Red Energy will supply the stadium with renewable energy under the VECO (Victorian Energy Collaboration) contract, which was announced in 2021, providing 47 Victorian councils will be provided with renewable energy.

The VECO created the largest emissions reduction project ever undertaken by a local government in Australia.

CEO of Bendigo Stadium, Dennis Bice, said: “This is a fantastic collaboration and partnership with a company that is Australian owned with a focus around building better communities.”

“We are excited to see the beginning of a long-term partnership for both organisations,” said Bice.

Red Energy GM of business development, David Holman, said: “This is an incredibly exciting opportunity where we can demonstrate our leadership in renewable energy as well as our support for community events in Bendigo.”

“Red Energy Arena will be at the centre of Bendigo’s sporting and entertainment events and become part of the city’s vernacular,” said Holman.
