Aussie Athlete Fund, alongside Ampol, launched the $1 Million Challenge this week, hoping to pair 100 Australian athletes with 100 businesses to raise $10,000, with all funds going towards assisting the athlete’s sporting career.

Founded by Nat Cook OAM OLY, a five-time Olympian, Aussie Athlete Fund was established to support the financial sustainability of athletes, allowing them to their career without the burden of debt.

A proud partner of Ministry of Sport, Aussie Athlete Fund works to educate athletes and their families on fundraising strategies and provides opportunity for once off and long-term support from businesses and individuals, with many athletes facing financial challenges that restrict their ability to compete at the highest level.

The program is now accepting applications from both athletes and businesses interested in participating.
