AFL Grand Final Draws More Than 6 Million Viewers
The 2025 AFL Grand Final between Geelong and Brisbane delivered blockbuster ratings for the Seven Network, with a total audience of 6,096,000 across broadcast and digital platforms.
According to OzTAM overnight figures:

4,076,000 tuned in from metropolitan markets.

969,000 watched from regional areas.

An additional 1,051,000 streamed the game via 7plus, contributing to the total.
The result cements the AFL Grand Final as the most-watched program of 2025 so far, comfortably ahead of other major sporting events, including this year’s State of Origin series and the Bledisloe Cup.
Seven’s broadcast also dominated surrounding coverage, with the presentations drawing 5.46 million viewers and pre-game entertainment attracting 3.86 million.
