Formula 1 has extended the Las Vegas Grand Prix contract through 2037, securing a 10-year commitment that builds on the event’s USD3.2 billion (AUD4.5 billion) cumulative economic impact for Southern Nevada since its 2023 debut.

The Las Vegas Strip Circuit measures 6.201 kilometers, making it the second-longest track on the Formula 1 calendar behind Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium. The circuit features a 2-kilometer stretch down the Las Vegas Strip, with a total race distance of 309.958 kilometers, approximately equivalent to the distance from Las Vegas to the Los Angeles coast.
Alex Albon recorded the fastest speed ever achieved at the Las Vegas Strip Circuit during the 2024 event, reaching 368.9 km/h (229.2 mph). The 2023 debut race set a Formula 1 season record with 181 overtakes, the most recorded at any race that year.
