Australia’s representatives for the Milano Cortina 2026 Paralympic Winter Games will take to the world stage in style, following the unveiling of their new team uniforms at Admiralty House in Sydney.
Hosted by the Governor-General of Australia, Her Excellency the Honourable Sam Mostyn AC, who also serves as Patron-in-Chief of Paralympics Australia, the event showcased the ceremonial, competition, and casual wear that will outfit the nation’s Paralympians.
The designs feature a fusion of innovative accessibility, sustainable materials, and cultural storytelling, celebrating both Australian ingenuity and inclusivity.
The uniform reveal brought together 14 leading Milano Cortina 2026 aspirants, including newly appointed Team Captain Sean Pollard, Para-snowboard star Ben Tudhope, returning Paralympian Michael Milton, and a group of Para-biathletes aiming to make history as Australia’s first Paralympic representatives in the discipline since 2010.
Commenting on how the launch marked a major milestone in the team’s journey toward the Games, Australian Paralympic team chef de mission, Ben Troy, said: “Our athletes across Para-biathlon, cross country, Para-snowboard and Para-alpine skiing are training hard to earn their selection,”
“Being able to see and feel these beautiful team uniforms makes the upcoming Games feel even more real. They’re not only stylish and comfortable but also incorporate the latest innovations to help our athletes perform at their best,” Troy said.
The ceremonial wear was crafted by R.M. Williams, while Karbon, , New Balance, and Birkenstock collaborated on the casual and competition attire. Together, these brands have produced a wardrobe that combines functionality, performance, and national pride.
Hosted by Paralympian, Ellie Cole, the event also welcomed prominent figures from Australian sport and media, including Australian Institute of sport director, Matti Clements, Commonwealth Games Australia CEO, Craig Phillips, and Nine Entertainment CEO, Matt Stanton.
Troy expressed gratitude for the ongoing support of the Governor-General and her commitment to the Paralympic movement.
“Her Excellency’s support is deeply appreciated by everyone at Paralympics Australia especially our athletes, who strive to make the nation proud,” Troy added.
