New Zealand Cricket Strikes Seven-year Partnership with CricViz

image

New Zealand Cricket (NZC) has appointed CricViz as its official Performance Analysis and Scoring Partner in a seven-year agreement that will consolidate its use of data across high performance and fan engagement.

The partnership, which begins ahead of the upcoming summer, positions CricViz as the sole provider of analytical and scoring tools to the national governing body.

The deal aims to improve operational efficiency and delivering consistency in both elite performance and audience-facing products.

CricViz managing director, Michael Kivido described the partnership as an opportunity to “provide NZC with the most advanced analytical tools in our sector,” adding that the integration of performance and fan engagement capabilities would deliver “long-term value and cutting-edge innovation.”

NZC CEO, Scott Weenink said the arrangement would sharpen decision-making on the field and elevate fan engagement, positioning the organisation “at the forefront of cricket’s data-driven future.”

By reducing the need for multiple vendors, NZC expects the deal to simplify internal workflows while also enabling consistent, data-led strategies across the organisation.

Agreement Details

Under the agreement, NZC’s men’s and women’s high-performance programs will gain access to CricViz’s analytical software and real-time data feeds to support coaching and decision-making.

On the consumer side, fans will benefit from enhanced coverage, including live insights and interactive digital content, as cricket organisations continue to place growing emphasis on data-driven storytelling.

Partnership Highlights

With a seven-year term, the deal signals long-term confidence in CricViz’s role as both a performance enabler and a consumer engagement partner, reflecting a broader convergence of sporting operations and digital media.
