Pizza Hut Expands Supercars Partnership

Pizza Hut has expanded its partnership with Australian touring car series, Supercars, with the pizza brand obtaining the naming rights to the Winton SuperSprint.

Originally, the partnership saw Pizza Hut become the exclusive quick service restaurant partner of the championship, which included signage on the track map segment of broadcasts and being an official partner of the Dunlop Super2 Series.

Commenting on the partnership extension, Supercars commercial general manager, Jamie Black, said: “We’re thrilled Pizza Hut has extended its partnership with Supercars and will be this year’s naming rights partner of the Winton SuperSprint.”

“Winton is a spectators’ dream because it’s one of the few circuits where all on-track activity can be seen from any vantage point.

“In 2022 Supercars continues to provide significant exposure for its partners and to have an international name on board for our return to regional Victoria is great news for our sport,” he said.

Pizza Hut Australia CEO, Phil Reed, added: “It has been a privilege to support and sponsor Supercars but also to witness the pride and passion of the teams, the racers and the fans.”

“It is a similar pride and passion that drives on the Pizza Hut Australia Team as we continue to grow.

“We are currently recruiting 350 new Franchise Partners from all across Australia and together, we shall get Pizza Hut Australia back to number one,” he said.

The announcement comes after Supercars extended their partnership with Coates Hire.
