The Connecticut Sun has announced a partnership with telecommunications provider Xfinity, naming it the team’s official internet and mobile partner for the 2025 season.

The collaboration aims to boost connectivity, strengthen community ties, and enhance fan engagement across New England.

Xfinity, a Comcast brand, offers services including internet, mobile, X1 entertainment, and home solutions.

Commenting on this partnership, Jessica Muir, senior director of brand partnerships and engagement at Comcast, said: “Xfinity’s partnership with the Connecticut Sun is a new opportunity to make a significant impact in our community by supporting local events and helping young people become the next generation of leaders, business owners, and athletes.”

“By becoming the Connecticut Sun’s official internet and mobile partner, we’ll be able to bring fans closer to what they love,” Muir said.

As part of the deal, Xfinity will present the official Connecticut Sun podcast, Keep Shinin’, and enhance the team’s mobile app to improve the digital fan experience.

Xfinity will also sponsor “Where to Watch” graphics on social media, keeping fans connected to all games.

A four-part social content series featuring players, coaches and the mascot Blaze will run throughout the season.

At home games, Xfinity plans exclusive seat upgrades for some fans and will provide the first 2,500 attendees at the August 30 game against the Minnesota Lynx with a special Xfinity-branded giveaway.

The partnership includes three community events this season, including one community-based event and two “Basketball for Free” clinics aimed at engaging youth in sports.
