In the ever-evolving business landscape of sport, the South Sydney Rabbitohs have announced the extension of their partnership with Wotif, through at least 2025. Wotif has held its role as the Rabbitohs’ Official Travel Partner, ensuring both the team and its community are covered for their travel needs.
This partnership began in 2019 when Wotif stepped in as the Pathways Major Partner. By 2022, the company had escalated its commitment, joining forces with the NRL team as the Official Sternum Partner.
This partnership has birthed several memorable moments shared on social media. Notably, in 2022, Wotif made headlines when they delighted a group of Souths Cares participants with a trip to the Sunshine Coast for a home game. Similarly, their support for SG Ball player Isaiah Vailalo and his family in 2021 speaks volumes of their commitment.
Daniel Finch, Wotif’s Managing Director, expressed his enthusiasm about the extended partnership: “We’re thrilled to be continuing our partnership with the Rabbitohs for another two years. The club continues to have such a passionate and loyal fan base and we’re proud to be able to continue our support for such an iconic local team.”
Rabbitohs CEO, Blake Solly, reciprocated the sentiment, stating: “We could not be happier to be extending our partnership with the great people at Wotif. Our organisations have formed a fantastic bond on and off the field over the past five seasons, which has seen Wotif supporting our pathways teams to a Jersey Flegg premiership in 2019 and NSW Cup premiership this year. We can’t wait to unveil more exciting initiatives for our Members and supporters alongside Wotif in the coming seasons.”
Solly also expressed his gratitude to Finch for his dedication to the club, emphasizing the importance of the pathways program in giving young talents a shot at representing the iconic Red and Green at various levels.
