Workplace Law Signs Significant Sponsorship Increase With Sydney Roosters

Workplace Law will become a major support partner of all three Sydney Roosters women’s teams including Tarsha Gale Cup, NSWRL Women’s Premiership and NRLW after significantly increasing their support of the Sydney Roosters in 2020.

After initially joining the Roosters as an NRLW Player Sponsor and being exposed to the Club’s women’s rugby league programs, Workplace Law will now have its logo featured across both the playing and training apparel of all three women teams.

A specialist law firm focused on providing advice to employers in all aspects of employment law and workplace relations since 2003, Workplace Law are known throughout Australia as a leading and longstanding advocate for professional/semi-professional women’s sport in Australia.

They have achieved this reputation through their relationships with W-League teams (Sydney FC & Perth Glory) and Women’s Rugby 7’s teams (Southern Districts & The University of Adelaide Roma’s).

They are set to continue this support by adding the Sydney Roosters to their Female Champions program.

Roosters COO, Jarrod Johnstone, was pleased to announce this new all-encompassing partnership across our women’s teams.

“Having a partner solely supporting our women’s teams is a first for the Club and something that excites me for the future of the game for females in Australia.

“The ability to attract corporate support at the top level will provide a strong base for growth and ultimately, provide a trickle-down effect that will hopefully increase junior participation leading to future stars and role models.”

Workplace Law’s CEO and Director, Shane Koelmeyer, said: “As one of the best-run clubs in any code in terms of their culture, values and on/off-field success the Sydney Roosters are synonymous with the phrase ‘consistently excellent’ – something all businesses and people should strive to be.

“Importantly they have an unwavering commitment to supporting female players, particularly indigenous players, in terms of education, coaching and pathways – that makes the Sydney Roosters a fantastic partner for Workplace Law in terms of brand and values alignment.”

In addition, Workplace Law will work with the Club to ensure female players have the necessary opportunities and resources to play rugby league at the highest level as well as to have corporate, well-being and educational support for their off-field careers.
