OpTic Gaming has announced a new partnership with Wingstop for the upcoming OpTic Texas Major III.

As the presenting sponsor for the event, Wingstop’s logo will be prominently featured throughout the tournament, and the restaurant chain will also be partnering with the OpTic Texas CDL franchise.

The partnership will include social media activations, a content series as well as the addition of Wingstop as the official wing of OpTic Texas with the restaurant’s logo appearing on the team’s jerseys.

Commenting on the partnership, OpTic CEO, Hector Rodriguez, said: “Live events are where esports thrive, and each event is a unique experience.

Major III is going to be our biggest CDL event yet, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back to our Esports Stadium.

“We’re grateful to the GreenWall for supporting us and Wingstop for coming on board as we continue to build the best live experiences in esports,” he said.

This is Wingstop’s first venture into the esports industry, and they join a list of partners including SCUF Gaming, Jack Link’s, and Favor and is the latest event in OpTic Gaming’s schedule, following the successful OpTic Halo Invitational held in December 2022.

The tournament, set to take place on March 9th-12th, will feature all 12 teams from the Call of Duty League (CDL) competing for a share of $500,000 in prize money.
