Wallabies Secure Multi-Year Partnership with Hahn as Official Beer

Rugby Australia has officially confirmed a new two-year partnership with Lion, naming Hahn as the Official Beer of the Wallabies.

This collaboration aims to elevate the fan experience across the national rugby landscape, from the stadium concourse to local clubhouses, just in time for the team’s opening 2026 Test match against Ireland on July 4 at Sydney’s Allianz Stadium.

The partnership is designed to integrate the Hahn brand into the core of the rugby experience. Beyond becoming the primary beer provider at all home Test matches, Hahn will feature prominently in pre-match activations at “Wallabies House,” designed to cultivate a vibrant atmosphere for supporters.

Furthermore, the agreement includes the development of exclusive co-branded merchandise and a behind-the-scenes presence for the brand, with Hahn equipment—including towels, change-room mats, and eskies—to be featured within the Wallabies’ inner sanctum at home fixtures.

Highlighting the historical connection between the organisations, Rugby Australia CEO, Phil Waugh, said: “LION and Hahn have a long and proud history of supporting our great game and we are delighted to welcome them back into the Australian Rugby family as Official Beer Partner of the Wallabies for at least the next two years.”

“Whether in the grandstands, bars or changing rooms after a hard-fought game, Hahn has been part of many of Australian Rugby’s greatest moments and celebrations.

“And as we build towards an iconic year for Australian Rugby in 2027, this partnership will once again place the Wallabies front and centre across pubs, clubs and other venues where our fans come together,” Waugh said.

Echoing the sentiment regarding the importance of the rugby community, LION CEO & managing director, Anubha Sahasrabuddhe, added: “We couldn’t be prouder to be back in the Wallabies’ corner as the inaugural Nations Championship kicks off on home soil.”

“This partnership is all about those moments of mateship between local and visiting fans that is so unique to international rugby. We’re looking forward to bringing that spirit to life for every fan, from the stadium, to the pub and the lounge room,” Sahasrabuddhe said.

The Wallabies are set to embark on a comprehensive 2026 campaign, beginning with the July series against Ireland, France, and Italy, followed by a demanding schedule of international fixtures across Australia, Japan, Argentina, South Africa, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom, culminating in the Nations Championship Finals weekend in late November.
