As the Super Rugby Pacific clubs prepare for the inaugural season of the new format in February, here are the latest commercial partnerships from around the league.

Moana Pasifika:

It has been a big couple of weeks for Moana with two new commercial partnerships.

Moana has recently announced a partnership with international company Elastoplast.

Moana Pasifika vice-chair, Debbie Sorensen, said: “We are grateful to Elastoplast for believing passionately in Moana Pasifika and supporting us with medical care supplies for our professional players during the season.”

New Zealand ticketing company Flicket has also announced an exclusive partnership with Moana.

Flicket co-founder and CEO, Ben Calvert, said: “This partnership is not a transaction for us.”

“We become part of the team and winning on and off the field is our goal too,” he said.

Western Force:

The Western Force have announced Retravision as their official partner for the 2022 season.

Force business development manager, Huw Lock, said: “To have such an iconic Western Australian brand continue their association with the club is fantastic and we can’t wait for our members to enjoy the new benefits in 2022.”

The partnership will include discounts for Western Force members at all stores.

Retravision retail operations manager, Mike Jeffrey, said: “We originally aligned with the Force back in 2006 due to our love for rugby, as there’s no other game quite like it with the level of respect, sense of community and passion, which the club embodies greatly.”

Blues Rugby:

The Blues have announced the Du Val Group as a major sponsor for the team.

Blues Rugby CEO, Andrew Hore, said: “We’re delighted to welcome the team from Du Val Group to Blues Rugby.”

“We’re equally passionate about giving back to the community within our region and look forward to collaborating on a number of worthy causes,” Hore said.

The Du Val Group is a major New Zealand property development company and will be a major sponsor for the next three seasons.

Du Val Group CEO, Kenyon Clarke, said: “The Blues are a leading, inspirational sports team, and every time they head onto the field, they demonstrate their hard-work and dedication to the game, and to being the very best they can be.”
