Top Super Netball Commercial Partnerships: Firebirds And Vixens

The Queensland Firebirds and the Melbourne Vixens have both announced more commercial partnerships in the lead up to the 2021 Suncorp Super Netball season, beginning May 1.

After announcing a new partnership with GAME Clothing last week, the Firebirds have continued the new partner signings by partnering with Sydney-based wellness company, Bondi Vite.

As part of the partnership the Firebirds squad will have access to Bondi Vite’s range to support training, recovery, and performance, with the deal also covering Netball Queensland’s elite pathway league, the HART Sapphire Series.

Netball Queensland high performance director, Demelza Fellowes, said: “To have a product range developed by an athlete for athletes gives us confidence that what we’re taking is fit for purpose for our elite performance environment.”

“We take a holistic approach to our athlete’s development and ensuring their hard work is complemented by a cutting-edge wellness program is critical.

“To have consistency across our entire pathway, from the Queensland Firebirds through to our HART Sapphire Series, is a real asset for our program and we are excited to work with Bondi Vite and the variety of their range,” Fellowes said.

For the Melbourne Vixens, off the back of partnering with American Tourister last week, the club has announced EFM as their official smartphone device equipment partner for the 2021 season.

As part of the deal, EFM will receive a spot on the Vixens’ playing dress, as well as a number of digital and in-stadium activations.

Melbourne Vixens business development manager, Aaron Bosse, said he was delighted that EFM has decided to support the club in season 2021.

“It’s exciting to introduce both the Melbourne Vixens and the game of netball to an Australian-owned brand like EFM,” Bosse said.

“In recent seasons, the Melbourne Vixens have shown what it looks like to deliver a full four quarter effort.

“Like us, EFM is also driven by performance and helping everyone power through their day.

“Whether that’s in the gym, the training court or at John Cain Arena, EFM’s device gear has our athletes and their devices covered,” he said.

EFM CEO, Carl Bonham, said: “As a partner of the Melbourne Vixens, we not only want to support the athletes and their fans, but we want to drive awareness and respect for women’s sport.”

“We see great alignment for what EFM as a brand stands for with who the Melbourne Vixens are – a high performing team with a connected fan base,” Bonham said.
