Top NRL Commercial Partnerships: Storm, Titans, More

With clubs looking to fill all available sponsorship positions ahead of the 2022 season, here are all the latest commercial partnerships from across the NRL.

Gold Coast Titans

The Gold Coast Titans have announced TrigonX as the club’s official trading partner for the next two seasons, covering FX trading, futures and digital assets including cryptocurrency.

Titans CEO, Steve Mitchell, said: “The team at TrigonX should be applauded for what they’ve been able to already achieve in their industry and like us, they’ve got big plans for the future.”

“As a club we are about being innovative and this is something that is evident with TrigonX and how they approach their business.

“From their home here on the Gold Coast they have become a global company and we’re thrilled that they’ve chosen to partner with our club as we also look to grow our brand on a national stage,” Mitchell said.

Elsewhere, the Titans have also named Macro Mike as the club’s official ready to eat snack and baking mix partner for the next two seasons.

Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs

The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs have revealed a host of major commercial partnership moves, with ELMO Software joining the club as the official HR and payroll partner.

The club has also announced an extension of their official tool supplier, Sydney Tools, for a further two seasons, as well as extending their partnership with CPe, who will remain the back of shorts sponsor of the club for a further three years.

The Bulldogs have also named Accolade Wines as their official wine partner for 2022, with Accolade Wines NSW state manager, Paul Moutzouris, saying the brand is excited to join the club’s commercial portfolio.

“Accolade Wines is excited to partner with the Bulldogs for Season 2022,” Moutzouris said.

“Both brands have a strong history and connection with Australians and we are very happy to be part of the team.

“With the playing group looking promising, we can’t wait for season 2022 to start.

“We are also excited to introduce our portfolio of wines across the Bulldogs licensed premises as part of the partnership,” he said.

Canberra Raiders

The Canberra Raiders have announced a two-year partnership extension with ISC Sport as their official apparel partner, bringing the partnership near 30 years at the end of the 2024 season.

Canberra Raiders chief operating officer, Jason Mathie, said: “In 2022 we are celebrating our 40th anniversary, and significantly ISC have been with us for 20 of these years, they are more than an apparel supplier to our club.”

“They are an integral part of the Raiders family, and we are proud to extend our partnership with ISC through until the end of the 2024 season,” Mathie said.

South Sydney Rabbitohs

The South Sydney Rabbitohs have announced an extension of their official travel partnership with Wotif, who have now become the official sternum partner, with their logo to appear on the club’s home and away jerseys.

Vodafone Warriors

The Warriors have secured partnership extensions with both Mazda and Wendy’s, with Warriors general manager of commercial, Glenn Critchley, saying: “We’re indebted to Mazda and Wendy’s for much more than their level of support as valued commercial partners.”

“Above all they continue to provide the most wonderful example of loyalty, even more so in these COVID-challenged times.

“Throughout two seasons of having the team based in Australia they have always been there for us and are suiting up to go into another battle away from home next season,” Critchley said.

Melbourne Storm

Lastly, the Melbourne Storm have announced two partnership moves, with the Brisbane Tigers extending for three seasons and New Era joining the club as official headwear partner.

Discussing the New Era partnership, Storm general manager of commercial, partnerships and corporate sales, Daniel Cullinan, said: “It’s exciting for us here at Storm to team up with such a well recognised and loved brand as New Era.”

“Our players have had a sneak peek at what’s going to be in the range and it was really clear that they were very happy with what’s on offer, as I’m sure our members and fans will be.

“New Era sets the standard for providing the very latest in style and comfort.

“Their headgear will supplement the sportswear clothing range from Castore, who will enter their second year as our official apparel partner, in season 2022,” Cullinan said.
