Melbourne United have partnered with Mobil ahead of the 2021/22 NBL season, with the collaboration to focus on providing unique behind-the-scenes digital content from Melbourne United road trips.

Melbourne United CEO, Nick Truelson, said: “To have such a reputable brand such as Mobil join our family of partners here at Melbourne United is fantastic.”

“It will be great to work alongside Mobil to show our fans what life is like on the road,” Truelson said.

Perth Wildcats

The Perth Wildcats have extended on their existing partnership with Tyrepower, seeing the tyre retailer support the return of halftime junior basketball at Perth home games.

As part of the deal, Tyrepower will work to promote junior and grassroots basketball participation in the region, engaging local junior basketball clubs to help with issues relating to health, inclusion, socialisation, community support, and good behaviour.

Perth Wildcats CEO, Troy Georgiu, said 28 local junior clubs will participate in the halftime program throughout the upcoming season.

“We are thrilled to be uniting with one of Australia’s most recognisable and trusted tyre brands and have them sponsor halftime junior basketball games,” Georgiu said.

“Both Tyrepower and the Wildcats are dedicated to giving back to the community and providing opportunities for all West Australians to get involved with the game.

“Our commitment ensures we can continue to invest back into our sport to promote participation and growth at all levels of the game,” he said.

The Illawarra Hawks have announced the signing of a partnership with Propel Technologies for the 2021/22 NBL season, with the brand to become the player sponsors of two Hawks athletes, Duop Reath and Tim Coenraad.

Elsewhere, the Hawks have also extended their partnership with gaming headset brand, RIG, with the brand to feature on the club’s home court stanchions at the WIN Entertainment Centre.

“As such, we are thrilled to be returning as partners with the Illawarra Hawks for the upcoming 2021-22 NBL season, as both brands continue to build on what was a great campaign last season.

“A common goal and shared drive for excellence, is what makes this continued partnership a perfect fit,” Braery said.
