Top A-Leagues Commercial Partnerships: Melbourne Victory, Western United And More

With the 2021/22 Isuzu Ute A-League season well underway, Ministry of Sport has the latest commercial partnerships from across the league.

Melbourne Victory:

Melbourne Victory has announced an extension to their partnership with Delphi Bank for the 2021/22 season.

Delphi have partnered with Victory since 2013 and provides members with unique banking solutions.

Melbourne Victory managing director, Caroline Carnegie, said: “Delphi Bank’s support over the past eight seasons has seen it become a mainstay of the Victory family.

“Their commitment to connecting and supporting our local communities makes our partnership so important as we continue to grow our long-standing relationship.” She continued.

Melbourne City:

Melbourne City has announced an expansion with McDonalds.

Melbourne City FC CEO, Brad Rowse, said:“McDonald’s has been a great supporter of ours since 2017 and has always demonstrated a strong commitment to investing in both the Club and the wider football community.”

McDonalds first signed with the club in 2017 and will continue as the club’s official coffee and restaurant partner until 2026.

McDonald’s Market Director Victoria, Brad McMullen, said: “As the largest employer of young people in Australia, McDonald’s is committed to supporting the next generation and setting them up for future success.”

City have also announced an expansion to their partnership with Nissan.

Partners since 2016, the deal will last for the entirety of the season.

Nissan Australia Managing Director, Adam Paterson, said: “Nissan and Nissan dealers have always been strong supporters of football, both locally and globally, and we are excited to continue to partner with Melbourne City FC to further strengthen our commitment to Australian sport into the future.”

Western United FC:

Western United has announced Mercy Health as their official healthcare partner for the 2021/22 season.

Western United General Manager Commercial Chris Speldewinde said: ““This partnership will be so important, giving our members and fans the connection to such an important organisation in the community.”

The deal includes Mercy Health being featured at every match event and will help produce club campaigns.

Mercy Health Group CEO, Stephen Cornelissen, said: “We are proud of our reputation with the people of the West as a safe pair of hands in health care and Western United immediately recognised that and arranged a specific player partnership with goalkeeper, Jamie Young – a recognised safe pair of hands for Western United on the field.”
