The Global Institute of Sport (GIS) has unveiled their plans to expand into the Middle East, in collaboration with renowned football performance experts The Player. Prospective footballers from across the world now have the opportunity to pursue a GIS university degree while training, playing or working in a top-tier football organisation.

The newly introduced ‘Study & Play: Dubai’ program offers students an unparalleled chance to train and compete in cutting-edge facilities under the mentorship of UEFA A licensed coaches. In addition to their football endeavours, students enrolled in a specialised GIS online sports degree will benefit from local academic assistance and become part of a global cohort of GIS students pursuing the same degree program.

Steven Taylor, Co-Founder of The Player and a former player Newcastle United footballer, has expressed his enthusiasm about the partnership with GIS, emphasising the fantastic opportunities it presents to young athletes.
