The European Tour Group & Hilton Extend Partnership

The European Tour group have announced a new partnership with hotel and resort giant, Hilton Worldwide, that will see Hilton become an Official Partner of the DP World Tour and the Official Hotel of the 2023 Ryder Cup.

As part of the new three-year agreement, Hilton will provide exclusive access for Hilton Honors members at premium tournaments on the DP World Tour calendar and act as the hub hotel for players and staff at select locations.

Hilton will also work with the Tour and its players to create engaging content on the DP World Tour’s digital platforms, in order to help drive brand awareness and audience engagement.

Additionally, Hilton will become the Official Tournament Partner at four tournaments on the DP World Tour schedule each year and will also become the Official Hotel Supplier at an additional three tournaments.

The 2023 Ryder Cup where Hilton will be the Offical Hotel of the tournament, will take place at Marco Simone Golf and Country Club, Rome, from September 29th to October 1st, 2023.

The new agreement builds upon the pair’s previous relationship, which first started in 2015 as an Official Supplier.

Hilton EVP and chief commercial officer, Chris Silcock said: “It’s an exciting time to be continuing our partnership with the DP World Tour, especially in the lead-up to the Ryder Cup in Rome next year, where we will have an active role as the Official Hotel of the 2023 edition.”

“Our longstanding partnership with the Tour has enabled us over the years to offer exclusive experiences for our Hilton Honors members and create some truly compelling content with Tour players.

“I am delighted that we will be able to deliver this content across a number of new tournaments, including the DP World Tour Championship in Dubai later this year.

“It will also be an honour to showcase our leading and unique Hilton hospitality to players and staff, welcoming them to our hotels around the world,” said Silcock.

European Tour group chief commercial officer and deputy CEO, Guy Kinnings, too expressed his excitement about being partnered with a hotel supplier of the scale of Hilton.

“Its global network closely matches the global footprint and appeal of the DP World Tour and the Ryder Cup, and we look forward to championing the game of golf together through some exciting content initiatives,” said Kinnings.

The European Tour group is the overarching administer to the four competitions: the DP World Tour, the Challenge Tour, the Legends Tour, and, along with the PGA of America, is the Managing Partner of the Ryder Cup.
